The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program that helps eligible Canadians access essential dental care by reducing the cost of covered dental services. Malo Family Dentistry proudly accepts the CDCP and welcomes eligible patients from Simcoe, Delhi, Waterford, Port Dover, and communities throughout Norfolk County. You may qualify if you do not have access to private dental insurance, have an adjusted family net income below $90,000, are a Canadian resident for tax purposes, and have filed your tax return. Before booking your appointment, we recommend confirming your eligibility and coverage through your My Service Canada Account or your CDCP welcome package.

Dental emergencies can happen without warning, and our team is here to help when you need prompt care. We provide emergency dental appointments for concerns such as severe toothaches, broken or chipped teeth, lost fillings or crowns, dental abscesses, and other urgent oral health issues, with same-day appointments often available depending on our schedule. While we do not provide after-hours emergency dental care, we encourage you to call our office as soon as possible so we can assess your situation and arrange the earliest available appointment.

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) provides federal dental coverage to eligible Canadians who do not have private dental insurance. The practice was founded by Dr. Steven Malo, and is now continued by the second generation of the Malo family, Dr. Ian Malo.
